Privacy policy
Effective 17 July 2026
This is a general template, not vetted legal text. Before launch, have it reviewed by a qualified professional for your jurisdiction and actual data practices (GDPR, CCPA, PDPA Thailand, etc.), and replace the placeholder entity and contact details.
This policy explains how ThaiEntry Media (placeholder) ("we", "us") handles personal data on ThaiEntry. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
What we collect
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, the email address and interest you provide.
- Contact: the name, email and message you submit through the contact form.
- Analytics: aggregate, non-identifying usage data (pages viewed, device type, approximate region) to improve the site.
- Cookies: essential cookies for basic function; analytics cookies only where permitted.
How we use it
To send the newsletter you asked for, to respond to your enquiry, to understand and improve how the site is used, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share reader details with visa agents.
Third parties
We use service providers for hosting, email delivery and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not authorise them to use your data for their own marketing.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected — newsletter data until you unsubscribe, contact messages for a reasonable period to handle your enquiry — then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to withdraw consent, and to object to processing. To exercise any right, contact hello@thaientry.example. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in each email.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no analytics cookies until you accept them. On your first visit a consent banner appears; analytics remain disabled unless you choose "Accept". We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement tags, and it operates under Google Consent Mode: advertising storage (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) is permanently denied, and analytics storage is granted only after your explicit consent.
Your choice is stored locally in your browser (key te-consent) so you are not asked again. To change or withdraw it, clear your browser's site data for this domain and choose again on your next visit. Essential technical functions do not rely on tracking cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change accordingly. Material changes will be noted on the site.
